Peridot Review – Empires and Puzzles

Peridot Ninja Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Peridot is a new Empires and Puzzles Ninja Hero, and if you’re into Tap and Win gaming, she’s your girl.

Peridot will hit, poison, and make ’em miss. And if left to simmer, she’ll do it to an entire squad.

Peridot – Empires and Puzzles

Is Peridot worth Levelling? (Empires and Puzzles)

Yes, -Peridot is completely overkill.

If she fires off her 2nd or 3rd charge, there’s a good chance she’ll cause life-changing injuries.

And on top of all that ridiculous damage she’s dishing out, she also leaves the victim missing… up to -54%! for 4 turns.

That’s just like having Dodge, only in reverse.

Peridot Review – Empires and Puzzles

Peridot was released with Topaz, and while both are OP, it’s probably Peridot who brings more to the table.

Peridot will not only chastise her victims but also poison them, causing utter devastation to befall their bodily functions.

See, after she’s laid hands, your Heroes will whimper and fold, struck down in their prime by an internal bacterial overgrowth.

Peridot’s Tier-1 Poison damage is OK, at 220, -although, nothing to shout about.

By the second Tier, she’s up to 438 Poison damage (over 3 turns). It’s starting to get nasty, now.

And by Tier 3, she’s in full-on record-breaking mode, -because I can’t think of another Hero who does this much Poison damage (764 to all 5 enemies over 3 turns).

Rayne, the awesome new Clash Of Knights Hero, only does 748 to a single target over 4 turns. Although, her Poison is “Contagious”.

Peridot’s Slap…

Peridot actually hits for less than we’ve come to expect from a Ninja, as seen in the table below. But what she loses in slapping power, she more than makes up for in Poisoning damage.

Here’s the table:

HeroMana SpeedDamageAdditional
PeridotNinja-3 (15 tiles)Deals 320% damage to all EnemiesAll enemies receive 764 Poison damage over 4 turns & all enemies get -54% accuracy for 4 turns.

OldCynic.com – Peridot comparisons

I think it’s clear as daylight, Peridot’s a super-strong Hero who does so much for the team.

Imagine the devastating impact of her hit, accompanied by the Poison damage over 4 turns.

That’s crazy stuff.

And we haven’t even really touched on the substance she’s flicking into people’s eyes;

  • Reduced accuracy, with the chance to miss also applied to Special Skills.

-This Chance To Miss, goes as high as -54%… a crippling figure.

Peridot – Empires and Puzzles Ninja Hero

My final thoughts:

Peridot’s a fantastically strong Hero who doesn’t need much to really put on a show.

As a sniper (Tier-1), she’s more than capable.

As a mid-range hitter (Tier-2), she’s a solid option.

And when Tipping-the-scales as a Heavyweight (Tier-3), she’s a complete monster.

Hero Grade for Peridot (Empires and Puzzles)

So for my grading, the question is:

Is this Hero’s Special capable of/likely to change the outcome of a battle? Yes.

If not, do they still bring enough to the party to help defeat the deities? N/a.

  1. Crazy good hero. Too bad I already have most of the ninjas up to this week and it’s not worth trying to win the one-eight-of-one-percent or whatever it is lottery to try and get her.

  2. In my alliance we use green tank and I just obtained it. Do you recommend use it in that position on every war, or only the fast mana ones?

    1. Hi Mig-El, Ninja’s don’t normally make good Tanks because they’re unreliable in Defense. It really Depends on your other options.

That’s the problem with setting Tank colors; sometimes you can’t use your best hero.

Maybe play two of the same element (if that’s allowed)?

      1. First of all, thank you for replying. When I wrote the question, it seemed it was not saved, now I see it worked.

I completely agree about having one-colour tanks and I am trying to convince my alliance we use tanks as tanks, no matter the colour, but I do not think I can win. Therefore my fight now is we should use purple tanks.

We can use two of the same colour, however if I use my current tank (Bertila) and I would repeat green, it would be Alberich.

I appreciate your help, I am using minion strategy for my defense team (Bertila, Penguin, Hanitra), but after I complete Morel I will change it and I will add Peridot as flank.

        Great site, my friend.
