Royal Match: Match More Than 5 Tiles (Light Ball)

Matching more than five tiles is an essential skill to develop in Royal Match, and it has come to my attention that many players don’t even know it’s possible!
The ability to match more than 5 tiles has bailed me out on countless occasions. It’s a real game-changer that will save you moves, resources, and coins.
However, it will take practice because it’s all about making two rapid moves in quick succession. But don’t worry—I’ll show you how in the video and step-by-step guide below.
About Me: I’m a Free-2-Play player who has been playing Royal Match [my review] for over a year. I’ve completed all available Levels and now reside within the Royal League. Here’s a screenshot of my account:

Royal Match: Matching More Than 5 Tiles To Make A Light Ball
The ability to match more than five tiles in Royal Match presents several options that would otherwise be unavailable to you.
Albeit, you must be able to see and capitalise on the opportunity.
Due to the nature of the game, matching more than 5 tiles means you will need to make an initial move, and a second move quickly afterwards so that you can beat the animation as an extended line of tiles is formed.
In the following video, I’ll show you how it’s done: Creating a Light Ball from a chain of 7 tiles:

How To Match More Than 5 Tiles: Step By Step Guide (Royal Match)
Let’s start at the beginning, with the board as it was before any moves were made.
Study the board to see if you can spot the match-7 opportunity:

STEP 1 (Forming Part of the Chain with the First Move):

Grid Keys: H = Horizontal V = Vertical
Swapping the Red Book at H5-V6 with the Green Leaf at H6-V6 will create a match-3 of Green Leaves, causing them to disappear.
As a result, the Red Book at H6-V3 will drop into the original Green Leaf’s position (H6-V6).
This is important because the Yellow Crown above it (inside the White Circle), which has a starting position of H6-V2, will drop and form a line of 4 Yellow Crowns.
Remember, once you match 3 or more tiles in Royal Match, they disappear. ~Meaning, the moment the Yellow Crown falls into place, it should disappear.
But we need it to form a longer chain, and would ideally like to take another move at H4-V6 (moving the Yellow Crown up to the line above so that we can create a Light Ball).
And that’s exactly what we’re gonna do…
STEP 2 (Completing the Chain with the Second Move):

You can see the second move indicated by the White Circle above (at H4-V6).
This is it, for all the marbles.
If we can get that Yellow Crown into place before the first move’s animation has run its course, we’ll be rewarded with a Light Ball.
Let’s go!
STEP 3 (Basking in the Glory of Success):

There we go! 7 tiles lined up like birds on a wire.
And as fate would have it, 4 Red Books are sitting directly beneath them.
That means we’ll also get a Rocket Booster.
STEP 4 (Flex as you Complete the Level):

Perfectly executed, however, this skill is all about timing.
If your timing is off, it won’t work!
Royal Match Advanced Tip: Long Chain Lightballs Via Quick Moves
My final thoughts:
Royal Match is such a good game because it has fluid and responsive programming.
Unlike many others, this game lets you dynamically change the board while an animation is still in motion.
Harnessing this feature has saved me a vast amount of coins and resources, allowing me to complete Events like the Card Collection and the Dragon Nest with ease.
After you’ve added this skill to your game, you’ll start seeing opportunities more often, and hopefully, with practice, you’ll succeed more than you fail.
And if you’re a new player, start practising early because this really benefits you in the End Game.

Very cool tip, but where is the video?
If you can’t see it, you can also find it at my YouTube channel.
Ah, thanks so much!
In your video you show 4 tiles in a row after move 1. In my version of Royal Match 4 tiles in a row immediately turn into a rocket. So this is not possible for me.
