Timesaver VIP Pass Guide/Review (H. Birthday Empires & Puzzles!)

Empires & Puzzles is 8 years old, and they’ve started the celebrations with a 10-day giveaway of the TimeSaver VIP Pass! 🎉🎉

We also received x100 Super Elemental Coins (representing a free pull at the Super Elemental Portal).

Of course, the 10-day Timesaver Pass couldn’t have come at a better time for my new account!

I don’t know how difficult it was to get it signed off for the entire E&P World, but it’s appreciated.

I’ve been away from the keyboard for a short period due to some dentistry work. The procedure was unnecessarily painful coz my dentist didn’t seem to want to use any local anaesthetic.

It felt like he was getting a bonus for every unused vial left at the end of the week.

If not numb me, then Whisky me, man! One or the other! One or the other!

Alright, let’s take a look at the TimeSaver VIP Pass.

Empires & Puzzles: TimeSaver VIP

The TimeSaver VIP Pass is all about saving you time. It currently costs £2.99 for a 30-day activation.

The Developers have gifted me (and I believe all players) a free 10-day Pass to celebrate the game’s 8th anniversary.

The TimeSaver Pass contains:

1. A cool looking Onyx Pet Dragon to watch over your Stronghold
2. Fast Battles Unlock
3. Allows use of Loot Tickets in Quests
4. x6 1 Hour Speedup Tokens (Daily)
5. x6 Loot Tickets (Daily)

I’m fortunate enough to really understand what a difference this makes for new players and how useful it is for the old guard as well.

Let me run through the highlights as I see them.

The Onyx Pet Dragon (Empires & Puzzles)

Cool thing to have. Just aesthetic but still cool nonetheless.

Fast Battles Unlocked (TimeSaver Pass)

This feature scares me. Once I get used to playing the game at that speed (x2), it might be frustrating to go back to the normal speed.

x2 Speed (or alike) is normally free in many other mobile games.

To mitigate attachment (this might also be good relationship advice; let’s see how this paragraph pans out), I won’t play at x2 speed. However, I will Auto-Play at double speed to save time. (Nope, not really relevant to relationships. My bad.)

That way, I benefit from the 10 days without becoming conditioned to expect it afterwards!

This is a cool feature that I’d consider purchasing if I was comfortably blinging.

x6 1 Hour Speedups (Empires & Puzzles TimeSaver VIP)

Speedups can be used for Building, Upgrading, Crafting, or Training.

Once you begin the job, an option to Skip will appear.

In the old days, you could only Speedup in exchange for gems; however, today, we also have these Speedup tokens.

I love the idea of getting some of these Speedup tokens for both accounts.

On my new account, where I’m still very young, I will use the Speedup tokens immediately on building work. -To level up my Stronghold and buildings.

However, on my old established account, they will be kept in reserve for when I might need to craft something and want to have it immediately. Other than that, my established account really doesn’t need these 1h Speedups (still happy to have them, though!).

I’d consider using them on Training, but that’s an endless battle.

Loot Tickets In Quests (Empires & Puzzles)

The ability to use Loot Tickets in Quests is quite possibly the best feature in this Pass. (Second to x2 game speed, really, but we’re not looking at that 🫣).

I tested mine on the Shiloh Desert Quest, and it was simply awesome to get it out of the way in an instant.

I do like to auto some Quests and tackle the tough levels manually, but some days there isn’t enough time, or there are simply too many Quests, so this is fantastic.

I really like it and will happily use it for the next 10 days.

Note for new players: You can only use Loot Tickets on Quests you have already completed. So this isn’t a cheat code, -you’ll still need to complete the level at least once.

x6 Free Loot Tickets Daily (Empires & Puzzles TimeSaver)

It’s nice that Loot Tickets are included in the TimeSaver Pass. It makes sense, especially as the Pass unlocks them for Quests.

x6 Loot Tickets is the same amount you would get in the Premium VIP Pass (the original VIP Pass), so it’s a good amount.

On my original account, I’m sitting on a pile of them (256), so this feature isn’t something that low-to-mid-level players would really need.

However, if you were to take advantage of using Loot Tickets in Quests, then, of course, the extra 6 a day would really help.

For new players, this is a great opportunity to stock up on some freebies!

8 Years On… Happy Birthday, E&P!

My final thoughts:

I didn’t mention much about the free Super Elemental spin that came with the TimeSaver, because, as you know, I didn’t pull diddly squat.

(E&P must have the same bonus for employees per Hero left in the tank come the 1st, as my Dentist enjoys for the numb-numb vials left in the cupboard!)

However, the free TimeSaver was a nice gesture, especially as it’s for a reasonable length of time (10 days).
