The BEST Heroes in Empires and Puzzles [Top 10]

Pinterest image with words, The Best Heroes Empires and Puzzles

Who are the Best 5-Star/Legendary Heroes in all of Empires and Puzzles? Well, this is my Top 10 countdown. There are no limits, Costumes are allowed, and only the Greatest were even considered.

Please remember, this is my personal opinion, based on my Hero grades and the criteria set out below.

Also, I’ve already reviewed many of these Heroes, so if you’re looking for a more serious take, please check out their individual reviews (which I’ll also link to).

Before we start, please share this post with your game buddies and Alliance!

This post may contain speculation, personal opinion, and adult comedy. It is not advice and is solely for entertainment and informational purposes.

My Criteria for Selection (Empires and Puzzles):

  • This is a search for the best of the best. -No exceptions will be tolerated!
  • There are absolutely no limits whatsoever
  • Every Empires and Puzzles Hero will be considered; from Dawa to … 😁 That’s what we’re here to find out!
  • Mana Speed Vs. Value returned is pivotal in my assessment
  • Hero Build (Balance), Class, etc. are all considered
  • Fear factor and sheer annoyance are highly prized
  • Offence, Defense, Stages, and Titans are all on the table
  • Current Meta is absolutely relevant, -Minions away!
  • Coolness is important – I don’t care for bland Heroes
  • What it takes to stop them, matters (like a Status Effect dispeller/blocker, for example)
  • This list will value the Quarterbacks, the Leaders, and the Generals (selfish Heroes need not apply -sry Tyr) -These are Heroes you can build a squad around
  • Synergy is required for both F2P players with only 1 Deity, and P2Ps with completely stacked rosters
  • For the record, this list was published on 10/04/2022, so that’s the cut-off date for new Heroes

Finally, being on this list doesn’t automatically make you the best in your Class. For example, a healer may rank well in this Top 10 but fare poorly in a Healers countdown.

-That’s because we’re evaluating the complete package, not just their specialism.

If you think I’ve missed the real Best Hero in Empires and Puzzles, I welcome all views and look forward to seeing your reasoning in the comments below!

You’ve been calling for it, and it’s finally here. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give the Best Heroes in Empires and Puzzles!

The Best 5-Star/Legendary Heroes In Empires and Puzzles

#10 Guan Yu (Empires and Puzzles)

Guan Yu Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Green Dragon Crescent Blade): 1. Deals 390% damage to the target and nearby enemies. 2. Damage bypasses target’s Minions. 4. The target and nearby enemies get -25% defense and a further -3% defense for each Minion owned by the enemies for 3 turns, up to -70% defense. This effect can’t be cleansed.

Guan Yu Breakdown

I don’t know much about the real War of the Three Kingdoms But from what I’ve been reading on Wiki, Guan Yu was one bad man.

Listen to this, Guan Yu was hit by a stray poisoned arrow to the left arm (I’m guessing that’s the arrow in his Hero Card), and anyway, every time it rained, his arm would hurt.

So his doctor was like, ‘To heal you, we need to scrape the poison from your bone’.

No word of a lie, Guan Yu calls his friends over for a party, and they all get p*ssed while the Doc gets to chiselling.

In a similar story, when I had an ingrowing toe-nail (too much?), I was completely numb under local anaesthetic and still took up the nurse’s offer of a hand to hold.

Different times… same chisel.

Based on that story, it should come as no surprise that Guan Yu is a total powerhouse in Empires and Puzzles.

390% damage to 3 enemies while inflicting up to -70% Defense (uncleansable), dependent on minions, is perfectly aligned with the current meta.

Minions continue to dominate, and as long as they do, Guan Yu will seek to redress the balance.

However, being tenth on this list does come with responsibilities; he now stands as gatekeeper to those seeking admittance hereafter.

#9 Penolite (Empires and Puzzles – The Best Heroes)

Penolite Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Radiant Rapid-Fire): 1. Deals 245% damage to all enemies. 2. Deals 490% damage against Minion and Fiends summoners. 3. All enemies get -50% decrease for any healing for 4 turns.

Penolite Breakdown

I grew up in a poor neighbourhood, it was rough, not gonna lie. But sometimes, the extraordinary happened…

One day I was on the bus, headed home from another exhilarating day of “learning”, when a bunch of twats got on and started making up a holla.

Anyway, this guy, who was sat up front, decided to confront them.

He says:

“Shut up and sit down, or you see this (he tapped on the handrail-pole running from seat to ceiling), I will conk your head”.

Now, English wasn’t his first language, but it sounded like sweet poetry to me. -What a tender and heart-warming speech.

And, in many ways, that reminds me of Penolite’s approach to summoners…

-tho, Penolite tends to tap on her own horn, and indicate where she’ll stick it…

Penolite hits like a French Mule and has complete disdain for all the summoners.

490% to summoners… In a game chock-a-block with summoners… is simply insane. And, 245% to the rest is crazy.

Keep your summoners away, cuz Penolite don’t play games.

#8 Costumed Master Lepus (Empires and Puzzles)

Costumed Master Lepus Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Rift Blade): 1. Deals 280% damage to all enemies. 2. The caster gets -24% mana generation for 4 turns. This effect cannot be cleansed.

C. Master Lepus Breakdown

I must have written 3k words about old Master Lepus over the last month or so, and I really don’t have much more to add.

Yes, Master Lupus is an utter liability without his Costume. But with it, much like Clark Kent, he turns into a complete poser.

Why is Costumed Master Lepus on this list?

Because he causes the most damage, for the least amount of mana.

280% to all on a Fast charge is simply devastating.

This guy’s a walking, talking, hopping, jumping, stick of Kryptonite (yep, -all crossed up that Superman reference).

For me, it was between Costumed Master Lepus and Mr. Pengi. But, Mr. Pengi relies on team Set-Up, whereas C. Master Lepus will lay out the Peoples Elbow upon polite request.

As of right now, he’s the hardest-hitting badass in the game. And until that changes, he’s Reppin.

#7 Costumed Kadilen (Legendary Review)

Costumed Kadilen Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Crescent Shield): 1. Deals 170% damage to all enemies. 2. All allies get +45% chance to dodge Special Skills for 3 turns. Each dodge summons a Thorn Minion. 3. Thorn Minion has 15% HP and 15% attack inherited from the caster.

C.Kadilen Breakdown

I’ve never reviewed Costumed Kadilen because she’s always managed to dodge my request for an interview.

And I imagine she’s like that with everything:

  • Always missing when it’s time to pay the bill,
  • Takes suspiciously long loo breaks at work, and
  • Already in jimjams when it’s time to do the washing up

But, I guess, I can’t avoid giving her Props any longer. After all, she is the premier Dodger in all of Empires and Puzzles.

I did reach out to her people again, explaining all about her nomination, and our prestigious event.

And they, in turn, requested a list of my questions, which I duly sent.

Then, a few days later (when they finally caught up with her, I imagine), they finally sent me a response.

Oddly enough, only one question was answered:

What’s your favourite sport? Dodge-ball. Wanna play?

#6 Krampus (Top 10 Empires and Puzzles Heroes)

Krampus Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Scourge of Joy):
1. Summons an Elf Minion for each ally with 7% HP and 10% attack inherited from the caster. 2. The caster gets Taunt which prevents enemies from using Special Skills on the caster’s allies for 3 turns. 3. The caster gets +44% defense, and a further 10% increase every time they are hit during 3 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled. 4. All allies get +50% attack for 3 turns.

Krampus Breakdown

Since his arrival, Krampus has shown the qualities of a true leader, often putting himself in harm’s way to protect his team.

Sadly, we don’t really see these qualities in the real world, and that’s why I admire Krampus so much.

Sure, he was nerfed, but he managed to emerge from that situation with his dignity intact.

Krampus has to be on this list because he continues to protect his squad against Special Skills damage, and that protection is game-changing.

Add to that, his ability to form strong partnerships with other elite Heroes, and it’s really a no-brainer.

#5 Diaochan (Best Heroes in Empires and Puzzles)

Diaochan Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Special Skills (Lady’s Charm):
1. Recovers 35% health for all allies. 2. Summons a Lackey Minion for the caster and nearby allies with 15% HP and 19% attack inherited from the caster. 3. Each time a Lackey Minion hits an enemy, it steals a random dispellable buff from the enemy and gives it to its owner.

Diaochan Breakdown

Diaochan recently appeared as part of the War of the Three Kingdoms.

And I really like her, for the same reasons I like Krampus and Ferant, and so many other Heroes.

But, this isn’t some Kum ba yah, We All Are One, talk… No.

As I’ve explained previously, Diaochan is a known thief (allegedly).

She takes things that don’t belong to her. -Somebody had to say it.

That’s not defamation, those be the facts. -if you don’t like it, don’t do it.

Last time I played against her, she took Rigard’s healing, Hanitra’s dodge, and Khangan’s mana generation.

And truth be told, I’d change this entire review if she’d just give them back.

…ball’s in your court, Diaochan.

#4 Milena (E&P Best Heroes)

A screenshot of Milena from Empires and Puzzles

Special Skills (Restoration and Annihilation):
Mana Charge 1x: 1. Recovers 25% health for all allies. 2. Cleanses status ailments from all allies.
Mana Charge 2x: 1. Deals 420% damage to all enemies. 2. Dispels buffs from all enemies.

Milena Breakdown

When Milena first entered the world of Empires and Puzzles, she was already a Deity.

Then something unexpected happened: Sally, daughter to a Developer named Tobey, happened to pull her on a free spin.

Now, this is all hear-say, and you certainly didn’t get it from me, -but there are whispers that Tobey’s been secretly buffing Milena without the proper authority….

… sneaking onto the live system while everyone was out to lunch, and punching in new numbers.

Word is, they finally caught up with him after he tried to create a new Passive called, “Mirror”.

Basically, Milena would spawn a new copy of herself onto the screen, each and every time you breathed.

Anyway, they decided to keep her buffs, and also buff the rest of the Magic Family, in the hope no one would notice.

Old Cynic’s Hero Grade: Deity

#3🥉 Ludwig (Best 5-Star Hero in Empires and Puzzles)

Screenshot of Ludwig from Empires and Puzzles

Special Skills (Fullmetal Pelt): 1. The caster gets Taunt which prevents enemies from using Special Skills on the caster’s allies for 6 turns. 2. The caster gets +84% defense against Special Skills for 6 turns. 3. Nearby allies receive mana each turn for 6 turns. Received mana increases each turn until the last turn, when 100% mana is received.

Ludwig Breakdown

We all know what Ludwig brings to the party, so it’s no surprise to see him on this list. But why only 3rd place?

The main reason is: he can be managed by the right hero/es.

As powerful as he is, he’s still a caster of ‘Status Effects’, and as avid readers may know, we don’t tolerate that nonsense around here.

The moment he gets that look in his eyes…

Malosi gets to conking heads.

But that’s not a failure, after all, we are now talking about the Top 3 Heroes in Empires and Puzzles, right?

The fact is, I consider Ludwig a high-end elite Hero, and that’s why he sits at #3 on my list.

I’ve played some devastating teams, and they routinely include Ludwig as a founding member.

Question is, who could possibly be listed above him?

#2🥈 Xnolphod (Empires and Puzzles – Top 10)

Screenshot of Xnolphod hero in Empires and Puzzles

Special Skills (Ancient Enchantment): 1. Recovers 32% 40% health for all allies. 2. Alters the power of all Dark shields on the board. When an attacking Hero casts the special, the shields become enhanced and give +37% more mana. When defending, the shields become weakened and give -30% less mana. 3. Increases the mana of all allies by 20% 10%.

[Xnolphod was buffed/nerfed after this review – Details updated, although the review remains the same.]

Xnolphod Breakdown

I’ve seen some alliances list Xnolphod as a Condition of Entry.

That’s exclusivity right there.

He’s so powerful, that your value is predicated on your ability to access Him.

… the true meaning of Deity.

And jokes aside, I understand the thinking; Xnolphod was an absolute revelation when first released.

See, it doesn’t matter what Heroes you field alongside him, -because he will make them better.

His 20% mana boost to all Heroes is one of the most potent forces in all of Empires and Puzzles, but that’s not all he does.

Xnolphod is a complete mana God.

He enhances dark tiles, to give 37% more mana when used on Offense. And, reduces the mana to -30% when on Defense.

And of course, he also heals for a nice, mid-ranged, 32%.

At a time when it seems everybody is trying to jam the E&P game-code, by creating the perfect synergy that simply can’t be beat, Xnolphod is often seen at the fore, leading the charge.

Because, as those Elite Alliances already know, Xnolphod will sit at the heart of the bad code, and force the loop, which no enemy can overcome.

#1🥇 Rigard (The Best Hero in Empires and Puzzles)

#1🥇 Mother North! (Empires and Puzzles)

Mother North Empires and Puzzles Hero Card

Standard – Special Skills (Super Porridge): 1. Recovers 30% health for all allies. 2. Each fallen ally has a 50% chance to get revived with 10% HP. 3. Summons an Elf Minion for each ally with 7% HP and 10% attack inherited from the caster.

Or

Costume – Special Skills (Hyper Porridge): 1. Each fallen ally has a 55% chance to get revived with 15% HP. 2. Summons an Elf Minion for each ally with 7% HP and 10% attack inherited from the caster. 3. All allies regenerate 612 HP over 4 turns.

Mother North Breakdown

You know, they say you see a bright light at the end. Some say, all your memories flash before your eyes.

But not to those close to Mother North. Because she believes we can all be reborn.

And not in the next life, but now, in this very moment.

And, just as the dust settles, and your tormenters begin to fill with glee, -that’s when she draws back the curtains to the shadow realm and declares with a mighty roar towards the heavens,

BREATHE!

😲 I like that.

Oooo, do it again…

MUFASA!

Why is Mother North my pick for the Best Hero in E&P?

Mother North is the Best Hero in all of Empires and Puzzles because she’s the most reliable reviver in the game.

And when that fallen ally is Ludwig, what value in restoring him to the Land of the Living and sending him back into battle?!

Or Ruby?

Or Diaochan, Milena, or Quenell?

And, no matter who else is in the team, it’s Mother North who brings them back… Back to win a battle you thought was lost.

-Mother North will revive fallen allies 50% of the time. And with her Costume, it’s 55%.

In addition, she’s often used to form these insanely difficult Defenses, especially when teamed with Ludwig.

But it’s not just Ludwig, there are so many other A++ Heroes she’ll synergize well with. In fact, I recently came across Costumed Ariel playing Center to Mother North’s Point, and it was a glorious thing to behold… they took my Cups with such grace and elegance.

To my mind, there is no doubt that indeed Nadezhda’s Tier 2 does offer the best value among all the Revivers, but her consistency on Defense is in question.

Truth is, no one has caused nearly as many rage-quits, as has sweet ‘ol Mother North.

And that’s why, whenever we see her used as Tank in war, we get all giddy.

-Because we can’t quite believe our luck. -Here goes the best Hero in the game, caught completely off guard and out of position!

  1. Where is Costume Alasie – have you seen the state of art defs from top alliances? 🙂
And why you do not mention lewana – she does the same like c lepus with better stats and without negative drawback?

And why penolite? Shes a one trick pony vs minion/fiend summoners – plus average speed
Sure shes nice against those type of defs but nowhere near top 10 heroes
What exactly makes him better than odin if you do not only consider dmg vs minion makers?

I still like that kindcof approach to ranking good heroes but sure there is missin yome strong ones 🙂

    1. Hello, thanks for the comment!

Alasie is a star, no doubt. I’m saying I’d prefer one of these other heroes before her. They do more for me, but she’s not far off. Maybe my Top 15.

Lewena wasn’t forgotten, but I went for the slightly heavier ML, with his costumed bonus also in mind. Lewena has an argument to be here, and that’s fair enough.

You don’t think Penolite makes this list in the current meta? I love what she does. Odin damage Vs. Summoners? Odin has a great mana gen effect, but 490% against summoners, no questions asked, makes Penolite better imv.

For me, it was about heroes who anyone could pull and be over the moon at the impact they have. It’s not solely about elite rosters with specific defences, it’s about all levels of play and as much versatility as possible, and these are the heroes I came up with.

That said, I’m not saying ‘I’m right and everyone else is wrong’, I’m saying, ‘this is how I see things right now’.

PS. I’d love to see your Top 10!

Thanks for reading and I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

      1. Kinda hard making a top 10 because there many aspects in this game – from war to events to titans

my personal favorites that are very strong in various aspects might look like this (in no order but for me all of them are super strong in what they do)
        C Marjana
        C Ariel
        Milena
        Xnolphod
        Toxicandra
        Zuri
        C Alasie
        Ruby
        Garnet
        Quenell
        Krampus
        Ludwig
        Pengi

But might change with every new event as a lot of op stuff comes in lately lol
Also some soon to be superstars like diaochan or hulda could be considered in the near future

          1. 😁 So your top 10 is actually a top 16? Or simply, Yes. I think we’ve spoken before, so I feel it’s ok to pull your leg.

It’s near impossible to create a top 10 which satisfies everyone, just gotta be true to your views.

Thanks for sharing yours, and thanks for reading my blog.

          2. Yeah couldnt do a top 10 – but those are essential superstars for me lol

But wonder how many if them we still see in about a year in a best of 😀

          3. You’re right…. That’s why I did this list before season 5. So many new heroes coming our way, and buffs (like the Magic). Thanks again

          4. Yeah thanks for this site 2 – really like your reviews as they are quite unique 🙂

      2. Hey,
I’m a freshman to your site and appreciate a lot your lists but since a lot of people were criticizing me for my preference of Krampus instead of the Black knight and I kind of missed him at your list so isn’t he worth the top 10? And Krampus with costume hasn’t become better than without?
I really appreciated your reviews and comments about all the heroes, thanks!

        1. Hey Vincent, thanks for supporting my blog!

I prefer Krampus over Black Knight because he does more for me, and it’s harder to stop him from doing those things.

With BK, all he has is his Status Effect. If you deal with that, you stop him.

Even if you stop the Taunt with Krampus, he’ll still doles out minions to everybody (pseudo healing them, creating a meat barrier, and helping with fiends).

And, I prefer the non-Costumed version because it’s the defensive options. If the Costume had the extra Taunt, I’d pick that. Since the nerf, it’s back to the original for me.

I hope that helps. I’m not claiming to be ‘right’. That’s just the way I see it.

          Thanks again!

  2. Up awesome job! It’s sad and somewhat annoying that I have literally 0.00 of the top 10 5*s!
I do have skadi however. Imo she’s gotta be in the top 15!
Thanks for all you do here! This was a good decision on my part ( actually patting myself on the back atm ) to subscribe to your page.

    1. Hey Josh, thanks for subscribing, I really appreciate that.

It’s OK not to have them, -just gotta have a plan to beat them!

Oh, Skadi is awesome, you’re doing really well to have a hero as good as her.

  3. Great list! I have 3 of these heroes so I feel I’m off to a good start. I’m currently summoning for Costume Master Lepus this month so I’ll cross my fingers for him.

  4. Hi Cynic,
been reading your blog for a while and i have to say its always a pleasure.
I agree with you in many parts.
The worst raids are the ones where you got mother north combined with ludwig/Krampus They making me crazy. Had the luck to get Guan yu and he really makes my life less complicated.

A few other, really usefull heroes in my opinion are Lord Loki, Frigg/Morel, Garnet (with status ailment immunity), Xnolphod, Crystalis (after buff), Lady Loki, Bera. For me the MVP right now is Bobo(the best AoE i got) paired with Ludwig. Just need to make sure Ludwig is on full mana and the fight is going to end soon.
Cheers and keep the great work

  5. Great article!

I agree with you that costume Rigard is the best hero in the game. I think that’s what you said… Hahaha.

  6. So it looks like you went with regular Mother North over her costume, am I reading that right? If so, what made you lean that way? The general consensus, which I heartily agree with, is that her costume was a significant upgrade.

    1. Hi Holodigm. Yes, controversially I’ve gone for the base Mother North (still with the Costume Bonus tho).

I’ve reviewed both here, which will provide more insight to my thinking, but in short, there’s every reason to prefer the Costume, -besides the type of healing she provides. For me, that type of healing offers me more control when facing it in Defense, and a little less control on Offense.

It’s a slight preference, and I’m happy with both versions, because 50% and 55% lead the way. -The base model just offers me guaranteed healing. And I like that.

I should add, in my initial review I too picked the Costume over the base, for all the reasons we know. If I were listing them separately, MN would be #1 and #2.

  7. Hi,
Concur with the general consensus, great reviews! Keep em coming!. Nice short and slightly longer list, I saved up to 40 odd coins for mr lepus and/or killhare, but am naturally overjoyed with the 6 or so chick jr I got!
One that I do not necessarily see on the list, but one that made mother north a lot easier to deal with in her safe little corner is Quentin; hefty fast single strike, but the damage after the first strike with the likes of morel finishes anyone 90% of the time. C MN sometimes resists his afterburner though..

  8. Oh lordy. All this Krampus worship again. And enough of MN. The only thing she is really good at is being on critic’s lists. Okay that may be the Bud Lite bravado talking haha.

Until recently I’ve raided almost exclusively with mono green. 9 tiles to debuff Krampus, edd, def down, dodge (hit all), snipe MN. One more tile to charge Alby & drink in the mana regen to mop up any poor sobbing survivors.

Blue heros. Even green heros. Not a biggie. What really chaps my ass. Red. Ga’damn red bastards. Octros in particular. He has destroyed my hopes and dreams on many many occasion. He haunts me. Keeps me up at night. The boogeyman doesn’t keep my children up at night. Octos does. And sugar too. But let’s stay on task here. Octros should be in the conversation. But maybe it’s just me. Is it me? Am I the drama?

    1. 😄 You can’t discount Krampus cuz you run a Green team. That’s not fair. On that basis, I’d discount Diaochan, Ludwig, and Xnolphod!

Octros is trouble, tho. Thanks for sharing Kayth, and for reading!

  9. Sigh. Onyx Ninja being on the field leaves taunt heroes waiting for the next dance. He can block them before they shoot OR untaunt them after they shoot, at he charges at very fast speed so pretty much whenever he feels like it vs the taunt heroes are all average or slow.

But we arent here to talk about him because he isnt the meanest ninja in the fight, he just unbuffs/blocks buffs. Which isnt as weirdly cool as stealing buffs and healing, thats kinda Mother Theresa really nice good with YOU DID WHAT, HOW COULD YOU?!? YOU POS! level evil…
Oh and Onyx hits like a truck…but forget that…

Because Ruby would be really pissed off if we chose anyone but her and pissing off Ruby is bad!

She removes mana,, she slows mana regen, AND she hits like a truck from a stephen king book. True, one can argue that on defense she isnt trustworthy because of AI incompetence, but that argument applies to most heroes in the game. I vote for ruby because she cant be caught a step slow (Mom north can and often is killed before she gets to do her thing, where ninja speed means ruby can fire in 5 tiles), can be made unstoppable by a mana boost hero (IE Xnolphod or Ludwig) whereas Mom or even costume mom actually becomes redundant if she were to fire back to back turns unless she happened to not revive the 1st try.

I agree, a top 10 is really difficult as so much plays in. But I would take Ruby as a 1st round pick in ANY draft and have no regrets afterward. Shes simply that overpowered.

And Director Zuri wants to speak with you personally…

    1. Haha, thanks for the insight. You’re right, Onyx isn’t mentioned enough on this blog. 350% damage to all, all enemies immune to buffs for 5 turns, and dispels buffs… For x3 Ninja.

As for the Director, since I’m the one who has to continuously buff her page, she can go talk to the wall! I know how good she is!

      Thanks for reading!

  10. Shouldn’t Miki atleast be mentioned?
Probably the best Titan killer and PVE boss controller. Just bring Mana pöots and you can almost kill any PVE boss without any other god heores.
And in Rush he is even good PVP.

  11. Its hard to keep a top 10 up to date with SG running wild with nerfs, new content and balance updates.

That beng said, i find the opinion/motivation for the list pretty much spot on from a poll opinion.
And from experience us players knows what we hate to face and what we would like to avoid when raiding.

Buuut.. as a carpenter or a blacksmith we all have our favorite tools, and adding stats + usefulness + diversity we are all advocates for our own galleries.
I do have a fully kitted out Mother north, but in the type of fast-lane play i usually do she is benched 95% of the time, and i ony take her out for a spin when War/tournament says “Rush”.
This is a bit sad because i know many out there would run her 24/7 if they only had her.

To wrap it up i do have a favorite for #1 from my own list, based on stats/skills/usefulness.. and that is Dark Lord.
If i want to kill something, he is the first one i call 😉

  12. Almost impossible task – Nuances like passive skills, the many different parts of the game, and what seems like an endless stream of new heroes. Regardless, I attempted it anyways and tried to go through all the heroes as objectively as I could.

    Counting down:
    10—Yunan
    9—Captain Nemo
    8—Noor
    7—Russula
    6—Mok Arr
    5—Guardian Owl
    4—Salmon Loki
    3—Jade
    2—Exeera
    1—Myztero

And there you have it! My top….oh I think I read it wrong.

  13. I’m new to your blog and recently subscribed. I’m curious how Nadezhda and Congalach aren’t on the list. Also, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REVIEW Khonshu? I have him and have leveled him, and so far, I am loving the results! Anyway, you have some great content, and I enjoy reading it!

    1. Hey Chris! It’s hard to collate a Top 10! You’re never gonna please everybody. Plus, have you seen how positive I am about Congalach and Nadezhda?

In honesty, it’s their recency that causes the issue. At the time, if I remember correctly, Congalach was just out the box, and with Nadezhda it’s her tiered Special which reflected badly (when against the others on the list).

Also, I’m sorry I can’t review everyone, but I do try to catch the big ones that appear.

And finally, thank you for reading and supporting my blog, I really do appreciate it.

  14. what about cos guardian panther? She is a stud for my team. I pair her with Frigg, quenell, cobalt and zircon and my raid scores have never been better.

  15. Try Rhys, Ariel, and Zhuge Liang. Both Rhys and Zhuge Liang are very strong but coupling these three throws Minions and Fiends like crazy due to the massive mana bonuses (+5% Rhys, +37% yellow from Rhys fast special, and +24% from Ariel special). Best of all, reflect is irrelevant for the special skill.
Rhys is the all-star though making the rest of the team SOO much better and should be in the top.

  16. What’s the better strategy for leveling up one’s best heroes. Level them up one at a time by feeding them heroes of all colors? Or leveling up multiple heroes simultaneously by feeding them other heroes that are of the same color? Thanks!

    1. Always level using the same colour only. This gives 20% more progress. Meaning 1 month takes only 25 days, or 1 year takes only 10 months.

  17. Which of these heroes is worth leveling up for their mana-related skills? Thanks!

    Proteus
    Mist
    Jade
    Hansel
    Chao
    Li Xiu
    Leonidas
    Orla
    Tettukh
    Dawn

  18. Top 10 November 2022:

    10. C. Alasie
    9. Rhys
    8. Milena
    7. Ruby
    6. Waterpipe
    5. Alucard
    4. Costume Guardian Panther
    3. Anne
    2. El Naddaha
    1. Miriam & Midnight

  19. You have cKadilen at #7. Will her second costume not surpass the first one, and if not, will the second costume not buff her to a higher place, i.e., past Krampus?

  20. To be fair, this list IS outdated by now. Wonder if Kadi fits the list at all today even with the second costume.

  21. I just have to add that for titans I have to have my miki and for raids and war I have to have Tarlak ! So In my E&P world they have to both be in my top 10 regardless!!!

  22. I love your analysis of the hero’s like this one but it looks a little stale. Can you review and update with a new batch of hero’s I will never own 🙂
